Weddings

For many years I was so confused about weddings. People get married, than they get divorced. I wanted to have one, and than I didn’t. I thought I had to do it, I had to get married no matter what, and than I thought I don’t need to…I couldn’t understand why do we have to get married, why do we want to get married and how do we know that when we get up on the next day we won’t regret.

How will we look at the person next to us and promise him what we don’t even know, that tomorrow we will still have feelings for them? Do we make it our goal to get married, or we go with the flow and if it happens we go for it? But now, as a wiser person, I look at the weddings as the path of your own journey. If it happens to be married and than divorced this is how your journey goes. If you’ve never been married maybe this is how is meant to be.

Being married perhaps is a privilege, as long as you are happy, and you don’t lie to yourself and to your partner. Than a marriage is a blessing, staying true to your self is a blessing, whether married or solo, as long as you are true to your self and you stay happy…

Bulgarian Bag

I found out of the Bulgarian Bag sometimes last year in 2013. After few months I learned that the creator of the Bulgarian Bag is coming actually to Melbourne, Australia. I was so trilled and excited.

Bulgarian Bag historyThe first Bulgarian Bag® Ivan Ivanov created was in the summer of 2005, in his home country of Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Bag® was created, based on his successful career for many years as a world class athlete and seeing a lack of practical equipment. Ivan saw the great need for a deeper commitment to more powerful and functional training equipment and protocols that incorporated the total body movements and power/agilities...

Soon after I met with Ivan Ivanov I started training with the Bulgarian Bag and the results were amazing.
What are the benefits of training with the bulgarian bag?
The Bulgarian Bag strengthens and increases the muscular endurance of your grip, wrists, arms, shoulders, back, legs, rotational muscles, core musculature, co-ordination, balance, and overall shoulder and joint mobility.
Sandbags, rice bales, sacks loaded with hemp, heavy stones and war clubs were all used for the development of strength athletes long before the invention of the iron barbell.
Bulgarian Bags are small to extra-large sized, manufactured with pride in Bulgaria, and built with the toughness and durability to handle everything you can throw at them. Most, if not all of the exercises that can be performed with kettlebells, dumbbells or barbells can be performed with the Bulgarian Bag. The Bulgarian Bag, also offers movements that cannot be duplicated with any other tool that allow an athlete to move in all three planes of motion during a single movement! The Bulgarian Bag is not a sandbag. Although the Bulgarian Bag happens to be filled with sand, that alone does not make is a “sandbag.” The contents of the bag are incidental to the function of the bag. Remember, it is the unique design of the Bulgarian Bag that makes it incredibly functional and versatile.
Bulgarian Bags are available in five different weights. The recommended weight really depends on your current strength and overall athletic ability, physical conditioning, and experience.
Using the Bulgarian Bag for functional Fitness
So what is functional training? A functional exercise will incorporate some or all of the following:
Maintenance of your center of gravity over your own base of support (balance/stability)
                        Relevant CNS integration (increasing ability)
                        Isolation to integration (movement)
Generalized motor program compatibility (superior carryover to other activities)
The Bulgarian Bag truly emulates functional training, and there is no doubt that just about any movement can be executed with this tool whether the goal is to achieve:  Hormone respons,  Establish synergy throughout the body,  Enhance performance, Gain a competitive edge.
The Bulgarian Bag provokes every system in the body and brain, establishing the importance of understanding the human structure. The unique design of the Bulgarian Bag makes it incredibly functional and versatile, it can be used in: Indoor scenarios, Outdoor trainin, One on one training, Small and Large Groups, Corrective Programs, Performance Enhancement, Competitions, Power or play
The Bulgarian Bag does in fact offer movements that cannot be duplicated with any other tool that allow the user to move in all three planes of motion during any single movement! The Bulgarian Bag can be effectively and efficiently integrated into new or existing training models suitable for all levels of training.

The Tough Mudder 2013 adventure

I will remember 2013 with my participation in Tough Mudder Melbourne 2013. The whole first of the year was dedicated to me and my team to get in shape for this challenge. We went along to the event in January to have a look at it, get inspired and take some snap shots of the other competitors.
We did the event in September and we all (8 of us in our team) are finalists of the Tough Mudder Melbourne 2013.
They ask me now if I am going to do Tough Mudder 2014. And I say why would I? I know I can do it. Perhaps is time for tougher achievements in my life. Just because I CAN...

2012

I will remember 2012 with starting a new adventure. I have created my own Fitness magazine, and while it has been a challenge to run it, publish it and created, it has been a good experience. The very first issue was published in September 2012.
MOVA Fitness magazine is online fitness publication promoting the fitness industry, competitors, and people who work closely within the industry, giving more exposure for all of those who step on stage, work hard and promote health, fitness and well being.

You can subscribe to MOVA Fitness magazine, just jump on my web site page and enter your details:
